About Us

Welcome to Organize DIY! We believe life is better when you’re organized and our mission is to offer “do it yourselfers” a way to connect with others who are also trying to get and stay organized, educate our Organize DIY visitors and community members on organizing methods, information, and products, and inspire action to help you achieve your organizing goals.

Who am I?

My name is Dana and I am so excited to share with you my love of organizing and “do it yourself” projects. With over 20 years of education and experience in Human Resources Management and Professional Organizing, I’ve built a unique set of skills while coaching, teaching, and assisting my clients in organizing people, spaces, and paper work.

I’m certified as a Senior Human Resources Professional (SPHR) and Microsoft Office Specialist in Outlook and have been a longtime member of both the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and the Society of Human Resources Management.   I’m a mom of an energetic and creative toddler, and wife to an extremely handy husband who thankfully is patient, listens to my ideas, and has the vision to create whatever I dream up.  We love to entertain and spend time with family and friends as much as we enjoy working on our projects around the house.

Why Do It Yourself (DIY)?  I believe life is better and more fun when you’re organized and that has translated into Organize DIY’s mission to offer our clients and visitors a way to connect with others who are also trying to get and stay organized.  We hope to educate our visitors and community members on organizing methods, information, and products, and inspire action to help others achieve their organizing goals.

We look forward to sharing organizing information and inspiration with you through our blog, getting to know you in the Organize DIY community, and finding ways to support each other as we all embark on this lifetime journey of getting and staying organized.

Thank you again for visiting our site and HAPPY ORGANIZING!
